Senior Account Manager, Distribution and Trade Partner

 

 

 

 

Job Summary

In this role, reporting to the Sr. Manager D&TP, you will play a key role in driving profitable growth for our portfolio of advanced polymers. You will manage and develop relationships with a selected group of distribution partners while maximizing profitability through the sale of strategic grade polymers. This is your opportunity to shape success in a dynamic, high-impact role where your sales strategy and partnership management skills will make a real difference..

 

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Setting and meeting the sales budget and targets
  • Prepare and negotiate the distribution/off grade frameworks, and drive agreed KPI’s and business growth
  • Continuously improve effectiveness of the partnership between SABIC and the distributors and trade partners
  • Maintain and facilitate high level contacts at and between SABIC and Distributor management teams as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Close collaboration with the assigned Market development and technical colleagues to facilitate new business project growth
  • Leverages internal functional support such as Business management, Customer Service, Pricing, and Supply Chain

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • BSc/MSc Business/Marketing/Technical degree with 6-9 years of experience in the commercial field and a proven track record of delivering results
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in English and a second language.   Knowledge of Dutch language is a plus.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills to effectively act on different levels both within SABIC as well as the external partners.
  • Self-propelling attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented organization, performing at a good level under pressure.
  • Experience in managing complex business situations, projects, deadlines, and prioritization in a structured way.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player and an empathetic person.
