JOB SUMMARY

This job exists to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective bulk operations for North America Solids – SABIC Logistic Sites in North America, including management of flexi and transportation operations. The position is under the AMR ETP WEST Management structure.

Job Purpose & Responsibilities (+/- 800 characters)

  • Ensure smooth, efficient, and effective warehouse and repack operations for NAMR -MX Operations output.
  • Execution or oversight of loading plans for process orders (repack) in coordination with other Supply Chain Management areas (logistics mode analysts, planning and customer service teams)
  • Manage and ensure inbound and outbound shipments to and from warehouse or flexi site (Inbound & Outbound)
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of shipping paperwork.
  • Assist with SABIC/3PL Interface Issues (Error log / Triage) 
  • Management of warehouse and repack operations including inventory reconciliation (cycle and physical counts)
  • Analyze “Deliver to First Promise” data to unfold areas of opportunity identifying and isolating issues.
  • Pursue appropriate service levels by overseeing Third Party Logistics providers (3PLs), including monitoring and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop 3PL operational plans and strategies and use metrics and KPIs to drive performance.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction projects to help deliver overall warehouse/flexi sites and process orders (repack) variable cost productivity targets, KPI's & 3PL Management.
  • Define, review, and control budget for warehouse, flexi site and logistics  operations including accountability for proper execution of Purchase to Pay (P2P) process.
  • Effective execution of invoice auditing and approval for payment processes.
  • Create purchase requisitions, work with SABIC Procurement to link requisitioned services with contracts and approve service entries for payments.
  • Create operational budget, track monthly spend, payments and create proper accruals for monthly report.         
  • Create RCCA with 3PL for shipments incidents.

 

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (+/- 600 characters)

Education

  • BS / BA Degree; Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar Degree, required.
  • MBA or business related, desired.
  • APICS certifications, desired
  • Six Sigma training and certification, desired

Experience

Required: 2 to 5 years Logistics, Supply Chain Operations experience, Logistics experience with emphasis on repack or warehouse operations, Experience working with ERP (SAP preferred) for order fulfillment or logistics execution, Prior experience working with 3rd party logistics providers

Desired: Previous experience developing and implementing or changing logistics networks
