Job Summary

The AMR Public Affairs Team is committed to partnering with local and regional stakeholders to generate enthusiasm and increase positive perception for the SABIC brand in the Americas.  Our mission is to build a strong reputation for SABIC, internally and externally, as a leader in the chemical industry. We are seeking a communications professional to join our team to support internal communications efforts. These include developing and implementing intranet content and postings, newsletters, internal email communications, organizing large meetings, video script and production, and PR support, all in compliance with brand guidelines and governance policies.  The person will also research and write intranet stories and take part in the planning and execution of internal projects and employee engagement.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Create and implement internal communications including draft and distribution of emails and newsletters, Intranet content, digital signage, and internal regional reports.
  • Manages development of key internal videos and assists on assigned external video content.
  • Partners with AMR Sr. Communications Manager to develop and implement Internal Communications strategy and governance.
  • Works with stakeholders and SMEs (including leadership) to develop, write and edit stories for the company’s newsletters, internet and intranet.
  • Collaborates with AMR Corporate Communications Team in organizing and executing internal meetings and events.
  • Develops and tracks KPIs for Regional Internal Communications.
  • Assists AMR Corporate Affairs team in maintaining current project calendar to ensure timely distribution of communication.

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing internal communications programs
  • Experience working in a team environment in corporate communications.
  • Hands-on, proactive team player with an own-it mindset
  • Seasoned story teller with strong writing and editing skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work confidently with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience in graphic design, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams
  • Creative problem solver

Work Availability
