ASSISTANT SITE CONTROLLER

 

DEPARTMENT

 

The Assistant Site Controller role is part of the finance department in the business Unit Corporate Manufacturing with production facilities in Bergen op Zoom and Genk. In this role, you report to the Site Controller in Bergen op Zoom.

The team consists of 2 employees and focuses on production and cost performance of the production facilities in Bergen op Zoom and Genk. You will work closely with the Maintenance controller.

 

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Within this role, you are in frequent contact with various internal stakeholders.You are:

 

  • Financial business partner for plant manager and other manufacturing leaders
  • Supporting in the month and year-end closing
  • Reporting and analyzing manufacturing cost on a regular basis
  • Providing insights and monitoring trends and KPI’s related to our plants
  • Challenging in the field of performance improvements and savings opportunities
  • Assisting in the annual budget cycle

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Master or bachelor degree in business economics, finance, controlling or equivalent
  • Minimal 3 years of relevant experience
  • Affinity with production environment and enjoy working with many different disciplines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Advanced MS Excel and Power BI user; knowledge of SAP is  preferred
  • Fluent in English and Dutch - both verbal and written

This position is located in Bergen op Zoom (Netherlands). We are looking for candidates living in this area where you are able to work on site. Remote working is possible in consultation (max 2 days a week for this fulltime position).
